Coffee gets political

July 3, 2008

Bay Area Houston BlogI guess you can caulk (sic) another one up to the republican economy along with cake, ice cream, pizza, gasoline, college tuition, electricity, insurance, tires, new homes, Indie bands, and school lunches. It is getting quite expensive to live in this state.

Mommy needs some decaf

May 8, 2008

Jennifer is on a roll with this post, people! But, I have been there as well with journalists who just don’t understand that what we are trying to do is change the world, not just sell coffee…

My favorite irritant is when you try to list your blog, post, Digg, whatever and there are so very few choices. For example, PlainJoe can be lifestyle or food and drink, but not both. PlainJoe is a “change the world” site! Plain Joe is a “change the world, make you see things in a different kind of way” product. There is no category for that!!

Ah, screw it. I’m low on coffee and need a refill.

And, now the shameless plug: If you have an urge to buy some Joe, who am I to stop you? The world looks better through a coffee haze anyway.

Coffee Table Pop Up Book

May 7, 2008

Coffee and books go together like bread and butter.  At Plain Joe, our coffee tables carry a variety of good books.

Childless households might enjoy displaying The Pop-Up Book of Sex next to thier Plain Joe mug.  This book  will definately keep the attention of any neighbor stopping by for an afternoon cup of Joe.  The 3-D pictures definately take the guess work out of position angles, and a few other lingering sex questions too.

Take a peak at the video to test ride this coffee table book!
